Hi, I'm
Amber Bloom
(she/her), PhD, LPC
I'm glad that you found me.
I am Amber Bloom (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 14 years of experience. I am passionate about helping people address their unique challenges and create a more fulfilling life. I specialize in therapy and clinical supervision.
I am a late-blooming lesbian with AuDHD who grew up in an unsupportive environment. I deeply understand the pain and joy that come from embracing who you truly are. I have been, and still am, on a journey of fully understanding and accepting myself as I am.
I have a PhD in counseling and counselor education. My full-time job is as a core faculty member at Antioch University in their Master's level, online Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I do psychotherapy and clinical supervision part-time.
Outside of work, you'll find me hanging out with my partner, my two teenagers, my dog, Sadie, and my cat, Azula (AKA Zuzu), reading, napping, laughing, and having spontaneous dance parties. I am an unapologetic nerd who loves board games, crafting, fantasy novels, and horror movies. I also love chai tea and chocolate peanut butter ice cream, but not at the same time. Dark humor and alone time are my favorite coping skills.

All the best,
Amber
